Lonnie Stanga has been involved in the active practice of law since his graduation from Tulane University School of Law in 1973.  He previously obtained his Bachelor of Science degree at Louisiana State University at Baton Rouge, Louisiana.   Mr. Stanga attended the College of Advocacy, Hastings College of Law in San Francisco, California in 1978, the Ultimate Advocacy Course sponsored by NCA at Harvard University, Cambridge, Massachusetts.  He is a 1995 graduate of the Gerry Spence Trial Lawyers College in Dubois, Wyoming.

Mr. Stanga has been licensed to practice before all courts in the State of Louisiana since 1973, the United States Supreme Court since 1980, the United States District Courts in Louisiana since 1973, the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Mississippi and the Fifth Circuit U. S. Court of Appeals.  He is presently a member of the Board of Governors for the Louisiana Association for Justice, where he has also served on the Council of Directors and as Chairman of the Auto-Torts Section.  Mr. Stanga has served as the President and on the Board of Directors of the F Warriors Club, which is the alumni club of the Trial Lawyers College.  He has also served on the Board of Directors for the Trial Lawyers College.  He is a sustaining member of the Association of Trial Lawyers of America, a member of the Louisiana State Bar Association, Jefferson Bar Association and the Fifth Circuit Bar Association.

Mr. Stanga serves on the faculty staff at the Trial Lawyers College, and has spoken at numerous continuing legal education seminars sponsored by the Louisiana Association for Justice.  He has participated as a trainer in regional seminars sponsored by the Trial Lawyers College in Wyoming, Louisiana, California, Ohio, Georgia, Washington, Pennsylvania, Indiana, Florida and Texas. He has been a speaker at the Montana Trial Lawyers Association Convention. He has been a panel member of the Bench and Bar Conference seminar on professionalism sponsored by the New Orleans Bar Association in Biloxi, Missippi.  He has achieved the highest “AV” peer-rating in the prestigious nationwide Martindale Hubbell legal directory and has been named as one of the One-Hundred Best Trial Lawyers in Louisiana by the National Trial Lawyers Association.
