   Trey Mustian was born August 24, 1956 in Paducah, Kentucky. Growing up, he lived in Kentucky, Tennessee, Florida, Texas and California before attending Murray State University (Kentucky) where he was elected a member of Who's Who In American Colleges and Universities and served as president of the Residence Halls Association. He graduated from Murray State in 1978 with a B.A. in Political Science. Mr. Mustian then attended Tulane University School of Law where he graduated cum laude in 1981.

   While in law school, he clerked for Mr. Stanga and then joined the firm following graduation from Tulane. Mr. Mustian was admitted to the Louisiana State Bar in October 1981 and has had a general civil practice since that time, concentrating in personal injury, worker's compensation and Social Security disability law. In addition to being a member of the Louisiana Bar Association, Mr. Mustian has been admitted in all districts of federal court in Louisiana, to the federal Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals and the United States Supreme Court.  He is a member of the Jefferson Bar Association, the New Orleans Bar Association, the Louisiana Association for Justice, the American Association for Justice, National Organization of Social Security Claimants' Representatives and Louisiana Workers’ Advocates.

  Mr. Mustian is a frequent lecturer at workers' compensation seminars and is a past chairman of the Louisiana Trial Lawyers Association workers' compensation section. Mr. Mustian has extensive trial experience, having tried hundreds of personal injury and worker's compensation cases. He is "AV" peer-rated in the nationwide Martindale Hubbell legal directory.
